The raw material for the Master Parquet, logs of mainly oak and beech, are carefully selected from the woods of Ryssberget in southern Sweden. They have grown in these woods for 100 to 150 years and have been given their unique character with beautifully varied structure and the hardness that gives the parquet floor its remarkable durability.
The protected/patented design of the parquet block requires wood of very high quality and a specialised manufacturing process. Every single block is thus sorted and selected in every stage of the production, leaving only the most beautiful and competent to serve as Master Parquet.
Drying the wood is the most complicated part of the entire production process, and it is initiated by steaming the wood. In this way it is made ready for the main drying process, which is carried out under extreme control. The ”hysteres” phenomena’s positive effect on the finished product’s stability of shape is exploited to a maximum, which to a high degree contributes to minimise the natural movements of the wood.
During the rest of the manufacturing process the selection is controlled visually and manually in each stage, and assures a very high level of control over the properties of the final parquet block.
Consequently, exclusiveness is incorporated into design and manufacturing, and guaranties the most beautiful of wooden floors. By a countless number of individual pattern variations the natural beauty of the wood itself will be exposed, and will give each parquet floor its own identity. This possibility to artistic and unique design has done the Master Parquet coveted for exclusive furniture, and even for works of art as wall decorations.
No matter where and how, every use of Master Parquet will bring joy to men for hundreds of years.
Master Parquet is always Master Parquet!
