Material-Process of production The parquet solely consists of solid wood, totally without harmful ingredients. The blocks are chiefly made from oak and beech, but are also available in other sorts of wood. The sawn raw material is dried to about 4% humidity quota and is then conditioned to a production- and delivery quota of roughly 8,5%.This process, combined with milled traces on the underside, guarantees high stability of shape. The blocks have a milled notch on all sides for joining them together by means of loose tongues of wooden fibre board. The whole process, from a log to a completed block, is carried out by one and the same producer, which guarantees a very good control of the quality of the product. Dimensions The block has the shape of a trapezium / trapezoid as shown in the drawing to the right. Thickness: 20 mm Length: 322 / 161 mm Width: 139 mm For one square metre floor area 30 blocks are needed. Packaging The parquet is delivered in carton packages made of recyclable corrugated cardboard with an inside bag made of environmentally adapted polyethene. One carton package contains one square metre of parquet. |
